A secular house, where the “brandeiros” used to live at harvest and grazing time. The name of the house derives from the fact that it is located in the middle of an interesting group of chestnut trees, in which the brandeiros took the opportunity to take a nap in the shade. It has been rebuilt for tourism purposes, thus showing all its natural richness and well-being.
